Instinctive et autodidacte, Joe Bel donne ses premiers concerts seule à la guitare. À peine quelques mois plus tard, Asaf Avidan découvre sa soul folk envoûtante et lui offre toutes les premières parties de sa tournée européenne. Elle enchaîne avec « Hit the Roads » (2015), un deuxième EP remarqué, qui l'emmènera à nouveau sur les routes d’Europe, puis jusqu’au Japon.

Au printemps de l’année suivante, le single est choisi pour accompagner la campagne Longchamp réalisée par Peter Lindbergh. Au cinéma, elle interprète une chanteuse en devenir aux côtés de Manu Payet dans le film «Tout pour être Heureux » (2016), dont la Bande Originale, composée de plusieurs de ses titres, se hisse en première place des ventes B.O. en France.
C’est au Québec, à Montréal, qu’elle s’envole finalement pour réaliser son tout premier album « Dreams » avec Marcus Paquin (The National, Arcade Fire), qui sortira à l’automne 2018.

Self-taught and instinctive, Joe Bel played her first shows solo with her acoustic guitar. A few months later, Asaf Avidan discovers her mesmerizing folk/soul songs and offers her to open for all of his European shows.

She keeps going with "Hit the Roads" (2015), a critically acclaimed second EP, which brings her back on the roads of Europe, and this time even as far as Japan. The year after, the title track is used to promote luxury brand Longchamp’s campaign directed by Peter Lindbergh, and Joe lives her first movie experience by French actor Manu Payet’s side in "Tout Pour Être Heureux", in which she plays a would-be singer and sings her own songs. She chose to produce her first album “Dreams” in Montreal with Canadian musician and producer Marcus Paquin (The National, Arcade Fire), which will be released in the fall of 2018.
